Before we get to see what Wolverine has to offer in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past, we get to see everyone's favourite mutant flex his adamantium claws in the east in James Mangold's The Wolverine. Set after the events of X-Men The Last Stand, The Wolverine sees Logan travel to Japan to meet a mysterious figure from his past that will leave last consequences. Based on a fan favourite series written by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller back in 1982. After the colossal dud that was X-men Origins Wolverine, Mangold is hoping to do far better this time around. Ryan Reynolds and Will.I.am are not in it, so that's a start.
Mangold isn't a director who is scared to tweet from the set after he tweeted this photo saying "Hiro Sanada and HJ rehearse clash of claws and blades. Hiro is a truly great actor, martial artist and friend." It's one of the more
action packed pictures that Mangold has released. Hoping to get fans
hungry for a new Wolverine film, which lets be honest isn't easy as this
will be Jackman's sixth time playing the character. He might have some
juice left to do a few more but are fans really hankering for more? Set to be released on the 26th of July in the UK, it's only a matter of time till we get to see Wolverine once more.
