As fast moving as the world of film news is, this is ridiculous. As soon as I post the news story that Step Brothers' director, Adam McKay was taking over from Edgar Wright as director of Ant-Man it turns out the director has decided against taking the job. It was revealed this morning in many news sources that McKay was signed on to direct the film which saw it's original director and writer leave the production last week. But The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that McKay has said no to directing the film during negotiations. Maybe now the likes of Reuben Fischer and Rawson Marshall Thurber could take over the role of directing.
